The rating went up slightly, but the Hardback price dropped again by a few cents, and the Kindle edition dropped by a whopping $2.
The CH team is working overtime to make the NY Times Best Seller list… I wouldn’t be surprised if her team is buying up the books just to boost sales.

Charlaine is really pushing the $81 Limited Edition version of DEA.
Do I smell desperation? Guess she’s having a hard time selling the 2500 copies the publisher printed..
Lipstick on a pig and all that…
I can imagine people, less invested in the series than most of us were, buying DEA. Just to finish it off.
I cannot, for the life of me, imagine many people...

I started posting a new multi-chapter fic on ffnet today and it looks like alerts aren’t working.
So if you have me (Honeypop) on author alert, you might not have got a notification.
I’m excited to be posting a multi-chapter story again! It’s called Not Dead Yet (thanks for the title, Stacey!), and you can find it via the link above:

This post may contain spoilers for Dead Ever After. There is no author punishing, but it does contain some SVM characters having a bit of a moan and a rant about DEA.

It’s Voting Time my dear followers! I know some of you will never recover from the huge mess that DEA was while, on the contrary, some you maybe actually liked it (i’m judging you so hard! lol).

More Dead Ever After reviews.
Needless to say, he gave the book the lowest possible rating, one star. This is what people mean when they call the book “convoluted” and unnecessarily complicated and just plain stupid.

Just return it
pbt1:
pbt, if you’re that reluctant, just return it to Amazon. Even if you want to read it someday, you don’t need to shell out for the signed edition. Here’s a pdf if you absolutely HAVE to read it: https://www.box.com/s/b3sgmmag0rubesjcous5. Or get it from the library. Don’t put yourself through this. Best wishes.

This article is so off base it isn’t even funny. First and foremost, the majority, of fans believe this book stunk to high heaven. Not a “small minority”. As of right now out of 779 reviews on Amazon, 414 of those are 1 star rating and only 147 are 5 star. Seems to me like the majority has spoken.
This is nothing but a PR spin campaign by Harris’ team to try and halt the...

I knew CH would break my heart with DEA. I was prepared, I swear, but this… all of it… Low blow. Read DUD (how appropriate) and then DEA. You won’t miss a thing. Why read 12 books about a Southern gal breaking up with her suitors to get in the 13th with the random guy? Why bother with all the fillers? That’s right. All the nice words, all the angst, all the times Sookie...
